water + laptop = bad news
my beautiful T43 IBM thinkpad with fingerprint security has died. it put up a terrific fight against the monsoon i subjected it to, but sadly in the end all that is left is my sex and the city seasons on the hard drive and the empty shell that once housed them.actually all my files are intact thankfully and now i have what is essentially a really really big flash drive. of course this is one of the reasons i haven't blogged. also class, job search, journal work, crack, et.
however the one bright spot in what is turning into a massive headache of semester is my free cable. my beautiful, wondrous free cable that allows me to keep up my charmed addiction(much worse for the mind than crack) and know the important news of the world, namely that Laura is still in the running for project runaway season 3 winner. but really, aren't they all winner?

I shed two tears after reading your post. one of sadness for the fingerprint reader and one of joy for your go buckeyes.
I was sorry to hear about your laptop. It's passing is a reminder to us all that life can be unpredictabe and cruel. We should all learn a lesson from this. This very day, we should go home and back up our laptops. For what would we do if this calamity were to befall us? How could we silently part with our MP3s or that video of the kid fighting a light-saber duel by himself?
my t41 cries for your loss. why were you in a monsoon? you are more an indoor sort of girl (like indoor in front of a tv). ;)

second year sucks..take lots of pain medication/sleeping pills and pray it goes by fast...third year is slightly better..although my senioritis has made me sooo sooo dumb...you might miss smart, so enjoy it!
